Cigar Review: Havana Classico Pequenos

These cigars are not pretty, they’re not consistant in size or shape, however they are very good and a great deal.  I got 75 for $35 and I haven’t had a bad one yet. For the cost of a swisher sweet you get a real handmade cigar with some great flavor. It was the reviews on CI that finally sold me on these, and sure enough, they were dead on.

Cigar Review: Pirate’s Gold

This is a cigar only available at CI, and it’s fantastic. These are the kinds of deals I love. I spent about $1.25 per stick and got an outstanding cigar. They are very consistant, have a good flavor, burn nice, what can I say, just a really good cigar especailly for the price.

I will definately order these again, if they don’t run out before I get the chance.

Cigar Review: Flor Del Todo

Flor Del Todo was one of the first cigars I ordered from CI. I ordered them because they are cheap (about a buck a stick). If I was to review these in one word it would be inconsistent. I smoked most of the 40 myself, (gave a few away to friends), and some were good and some were bad, a couple were awful. With all the options out there, I don’t think I’d order this one again.

Cigar Review: Superiores

I ordered a box 25 of these from CI for $35. Now let me tell you, this review is going to be a little odd.

I like the flavor of these cigars, but the draw was so difficult, I didn’t like the cigar. I did however (following advice) use a bamboo skewer to open up the cigar, and when I did that it was a really good smoke. I may actually order more of these, however only if they get a bit cheaper.

Additionally, I may have just got a bad box, because none of the reviews I read, talk about a hard draw.

Cigar Review: Original Cubans

The ad in CI really sold me on these Here’s an excerpt…

Those that remember the legendary, authentic Cuban cigars know that they tasted sort of like vanilla ice cream soda. And about halfway through, you’d get a bit light-headed and realize that these babies were potent – but you’d notice it more in the belly than in the palate. “Original” Cubans bring back that incredibly taste.

I’ve smoked three of these and each has been very good. They burn evenly and have a nice flavor through the whole thing. These are listed as Med/full and are about $2/stick. They’re certainly on my list of cigars I’d order again, although I like to find those buck a stick deals.
